Ardmore 16 – Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

Ardmore 16 year old bottled by independent bottler Douglas Laing, from cask 13505. Bottled at 48.4% with no chill filtration and no added colour. Distilled in March 2003 and bottled in August 2019. One of only 307 bottles.

Tasting Notes:

Nose
Damp ash, maple-glazed cured meats and wood chips on the barbecue.

Palate
Smoky oak, buttery caramel, charred wood and washed up seaweed.

Finish
Lingers long and deliciously with dried fruits, earthy peat and dried leaves.
