This year we’ve been working on our biggest project to date. We love doing what we do and are proud of the reputation and following that we are growing as independent bottlers. We often explain the challenge of indie bottling is looking for individual casks with distinct character and how this is a
different approach from producing repeatable batches of larger volumes of whisky. This year we have been working on a project that we call our Aberdeenshire Single Malt. Our own take on a core expression, a 12 year old Glen Garioch. Our cask management, our blending, our
decisions.

Non chill filtered, natural colour, 46%vol
A vatting of 60% 1st fill bourbon and 40% sherry (PX and oloroso, refill and 1st fill).
Distinct in style from and OB Glen Garioch this will be our signature single malt and help bring what we do at LBD to a wider audience.

Limited to 500 bottles worldwide (wow we sound like a proper whisky company nearly).Each hand numbered, which Chris is already regretting agreeing to!
We hope this will be a fun way to preview our new project and hopefully help build some interest
and an audience for the new whisky.

Tinned peaches, apricot Danish pastry, bramble jelly.

Palate.
Apple Strudel with custard, dried pears, fresh fig.

Finish.
Marmalade, pain d’épices, French roast coffee.
