The Teuchter Batch One 17 year old fom indie bottler Decadent Drinks, is a Highland Single Malt fully matured in 1st fill sherrywood and bottled at 46.3%.

Once used as an insult, “Teuchter” now stands proudly for those who aren’t afraid to be a bit wild, a bit weathered, and entirely their own person. It’s not about where you’re from, but how you live, with humour, heart, and a dram in your hand.

Nose.
Fruity sherry, with caramelised brown sugar, winter mulling spices, hints of game meat and walnut and then brown bread spread with treacle and sultanas.

Taste.
Very easy and very quaffable, lots of rich dark fruits, subtle wood spices, a touch of waxiness and some dark grained breads spread with honey.

Finish.
Medium length, with spiced winter ales, dark chocolate and strawberry jam.
