Data Retention.
By setting up an account on our site you agree to us retaining your personal information for billing or for sending information about latest product releases. Your information will not be passed on or re-distributed for any other reasons by us. If at any time you seek to opt out or have your information deleted from our system this can be requested via email at hello@kinnairdheadwhiskies.com, and we will remove your personal information from our system.
Images and content.
The images and contents on our site can be used by others with a written request to hello@kinnairdheadwhiskies.com. The images of products we provide are for illustrative purposes and may not always depict the true nature or colour of the product displayed.
Age Restriction.
We do not sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. When visiting our site or placing an order you are confirming that you are at least the minimum age for legally purchasing alcohol. If we suspect this is not the case, then we reserve the right to cancel any sale.
Products for sale.
We aim to provide an accurate and correct description of the products we offer. These are updated and maintained by ourselves. If in the event we have mispriced an item we are not under any obligation to allow the sale to go through. If for any reason the buyer feels an item has not been accurately described then the buyer is entitled to a full refund as described in the refunds section.
Delivery.
Delivery times are stated for next working day however this is not bound by any terms on the part of Kinnaird Head Whiskies. Should there be any case for complaint we will do our best to follow up enquiries with our shipping partners.
Orders placed before 11am will be processed for delivery via next working day either with Royal Mail or DHL depending on size of package. Delivery charges are automatically calculated at checkout depending on size and location of delivery.
We offer free delivery in the AB43 postcode area. We will deliver free of charge on Monday and Thursday for orders placed before 12pm on these days. Please be aware that when a time slot is arranged for delivery an adult must be present for signing the delivery over to. If no adult is present upon delivery we reserve the right to hand over the order and re arrangement may incur a charge to cover for lost expenditure.
Refunds
We aim to please and if for some reason a product is deemed unsatisfactory, then we offer a refund service. The obligations for refund are as follows:
- Notification of request via email for a refund must be submitted within 14 days of receiving the product.
- The product must be returned within 30 days.
- The product if no longer required must be in perfect, unopened condition.
- If the item is damaged during transit photographic evidence will be required.
- Postage costs for the returned item/s will be charged to the customer.
If these conditions are not met then we reserve the right to refuse any refund.
In general
We reserve the right to refusal on any sale that is processed on the basis of false identity, for re-distribution purposes, or for other means that we see or suspect as suspicious behaviour. We do not ship directly to any auction house or online auction company, and any orders instructing that delivery be made to such a destination, will be terminated and refunded in full. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available to purchase online here, in a range of denominations. These are only redeemable online at www.kinnairdheadwhiskies.com.
The online gift vouchers are active upon full payment. You will receive an email confirmation of your order with the voucher amount, and will receive a hand-written personalised Kinnaird Head Whiskies gift certificate which includes the unique code to use when redeeming. Please note we currently only deliver within the United Kingdom.
Only customers who are over 18 years old may purchase a gift voucher. All gift vouchers are listed in British Pounds Sterling.
Gift vouchers may only be redeemed against products listed on www.kinnairdheadwhiskies.com. When redeeming the gift voucher, the code must be entered at the point of payment. Any remaining balance will be transferred to another voucher code and emailed to the holder – the initial “12-month” expiry date will be retained. Multiple vouchers cannot be used for a single purchase. Please contact our customer service team at hello@kinnairdheadwhiskies.com if you have more than one voucher to redeem for a single sale, or you have any voucher related issues.
If the total sale exceeds the value of the gift voucher, the additional amount must be paid using the other methods of payments available on www.kinnairdheadwhiskies.com. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.
If we suspect fraudulent activity in the purchase of a gift voucher, we reserve the right to cancel the voucher code.
A refund for the gift voucher can only be given if we are contacted by the purchaser within 14 days of purchase, and only if the full value of the voucher is unredeemed. Refunds will only be issued using the original method of payment, to the same payment account. If the voucher code has been lost or stolen, please contact us as soon as possible. If the voucher code is unredeemed, we will cancel the voucher and issue a new code to the purchaser of the original voucher. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months.
