Ardnamurchan Whisky Tasting – Wed 18th December

We are looking forward to welcoming Ardnamurchan Distillery UK Brand Ambassador David John Cameron to the Broch; to bring us the latest releases from the west coast distillery.

A distillery which has whipped up a fervent following over the past decade, tends not to disappoint in the liquid it produces. This is sure to be a very enjoyable evening, and also a great way to celebrate the release of their first ever double-digit bottling, the Ardnamurchan 10 year old.

One of Scotland’s ‘greenest’ whisky distilleries, began producing it’s own spirit in 2014. Unusual for the whisky industry, all the power and heat requirements for Ardnamurchan Distillery come from local renewables, the river that provides the distillery’s cooling water has a hydro-electricity generator, solar panels provides them with energy and their biomass boiler is fuelled by wood chip from local forestry.
The overall footprint of the distillery is a light one.
