Benrinnes 16 Year Old Rare Find

Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2024, this 16 year old single cask release was distilled at the Benrinnes distillery, and was finished in a European oak Hogshead for 6 months. This hogshead was first seasoned with Montilla-Moriles Oloroso for 18 months.
With an outturn of only 277 bottles, this limited edition single cask – Cask No.643 – is bottled at cask strength with no added colour.

Tasting Notes

Nose
Candied citrus, almond and cherry on the nose.

Palate
The palate brings fudge, raisins, cinnamon and treacle.

Finish
The finish has hints of lime, dried fruit and dark chocolate.
