Caol Ila 10 year old Murray McDavid Benchmark

Caol Ila 10 year old from Murray McDavid Benchmark range. Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 and limited to 1262 bottles. This Caol Ila was matured initially for 5/6 years in ex bourbon then transferred to a combination of Ximinex Spinola PX casks and Amarone wine casks for a further 4/5 years. Bottled at cask strength with no colour or chill-filtration.

Nose.
Floral hickory, salted apricots, plum.

Palate.
Grilled berries, smoky apple, tamarind.

Finish.
Gentle orchard fruit, warm embers.
