Carn Mor Pulteney 2011

Morrison Distillers last bottled an Old Pulteney for the UK market in 2018 so this is a first since the latest Càrn Mòr branding.We are very excited about this Pulteney. This distillery prides itself on using ex-bourbon barrels air-dried by the North Sea’s salty atmosphere and the shoreline’s influence is abundant in this dram. Matured for 11 years in first fill bourbon barrels ( ex Makers Mark) and bottled at natural colour and non chill-filtered.

Tasting notes:
Gentle savoury maritime notes, a subtle salinity balanced with citrus and vanilla.
