This year the Murray McDavid team presents a beautifully and uniquely matured single malt whisky from the Glen Moray Distillery, specially bottled for the annual Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2026.

This luscious and buttery Glen Moray single malt began its 9 year journey in an Oloroso sherry butt, building layers of mellow oak spice and sumptous dried fruit. After six years it was re-casked into a Madiera barrique that once nurtured peated whisky, transforming it into something truly captivating – a richly complex dram, with a creamy sweetness and a whisper of lingering smoke, all lifted by vibrant tropical fruit and a glow of warming spice – This is Inspired Scotch Whisky.

Ripe pear, smoked peach,salted butter.

Palate.

Hickory,floral embers, BBQ pineapple.

Finish.

Stone fruits,oily,lasting sweet smoke.
