You asked, and we ignored.
Then you asked again, more forcibly, and we said ok.
It was fun last year to preview the Aberdeenshire Single Malt and so a year on we wanted to have some more fun. Our Aberdeenshire Single Malt has had a brilliant reception and we’re really chuffed with how our first core whisky has gone down. It’s nice to show off the spirit at cask strength
as well though and so we’re releasing just 500 bottles with our black notebook label. Slightly more sherried in character this time, not on purpose, just a quirk of the refill PX and Oloroso puncheons we used to vat the batch, they gave a little more this time around. The abv gives away the fact
that most of the casks used to make our 12 year old are a good bit older than 12 years old!

Each bottle is individually hand numbered, to, errr, add more flavour? But unlike last year’s pre production preview, we have no immediate plans to follow this up with a core cask strength expression.
