LBD Spirits Bowmore 2015

Notes from the Bottlers:
A single bourbon barrel but technically a small batch as the whisky was bulk vatted by the distillery before filling this cask. We bottled this one barrel because we loved the unique character of this cask. It was quite different to other casks in the parcel and we didn’t want to lose that character by vatting more of this parcel together. It’s got the soft peat and lovely texture but also a great peachy profile that becomes uncannily like roast chicken flavoured crisps in the finish. The label is a play on this unique profile, made to look a little like a Roast Chicken crisps packet! We even drew a roast chicken on the cask so we could remember which one it was.

Non-chill filtered with no added colour and bottled at cask strength.
Only 272 bottles were produced.
