LBD Spirits Bruichladdich

Its something we dont often see so we are very excited about this one, independantly bottled Bruichladdich. One of Islays most diverse distilleries offering a wide range of peated and unpeated spirit with exceptional quality. The downside is the yield on this cask was so small which resulted in only
140 bottles being produced.

“We’ve done something slightly different with bottling this one, switching to a 20micron filter rather than the standard finer filters. We did this to give as close to a raw direct from the cask experience for our customers. The texture of this cask is exceptional and the wider filter helps preserve this. As a
result, expect some very fine cask char sediment to settle but we think this only adds to the experience.”

Tasting notes:
Colour.
Autum pear.

Nose.
Haylage, apricot yoghurt, candied peels in syrup.

Palate.
Thick custard, date paste, lemon curd.

Finish.
Super long delight, Chablis, honeydew melon.
