Glen Elgin is a distillate that we enjoy coming back to. Requiring a more delicate approach despite the worm tub condensation, we feel you have to be careful with wood to really display it at its best. This is a fairly special expression of a workhorse distillery however, from a single refill Pineau des
Charentes barrique.
Wonderful texture and great balance, presented using a less common cask type.

Non-chill filtered with no added colour and bottled at cask strength.
Only 265 bottles were produced.

NOSE
Blackcurrant chewits, white tea, apricot jam

PALATE
Madeira cake, grenadine, cognac

FINISH
Candied ginger, light tamarind, fresh rocket.
