Our 100th release. We’ve taken longer than some brands that started after us to get to this point but we’re fussy about what we release, and probably a more accurate reason, we started in a garage so these things take time.
We’re proud of every release to find it’s way into the world in an LBD bottle (or flask!) but we wanted our 100th release to mean something personal. I lost my dad coming up for 11 years ago.

He was someone I really enjoyed sharing a dram with. He never got to see LBD transform from a (quite intense) hobby, into what it is today and I do wonder what he’d think. My father in law stepped in to help with moments where Fatherly advice is required. When we meet up we usually
share a bottle of old style Glen Ord, either in the tall round or the square decanter style bottles. It’s a solid session dram and I have many happy memories of time spent sharing these bottles. So despite the sillyness and geekery, we can be sentimental at times and so this is why the
Glen Ord was reserved for the 100th release.

2 hogsheads, vatted together for a year in an oloroso puncheon, this is a cask strength, no chill filtered and natural coloured tribute to an old school Glen Ord. The label reflects this tribute and look, a shiny gold capsule.
Yes we really pushed the boat out here!

PALATE: Sancerre, drumstick lollie, baked strawberry
FINISH: Salted pecans, crème brûlée, white pepper
