Seven Sons Miltonduff 12 year old

The sixth release in the Seven Sons range from 8 Doors Distillery is a single malt from Miltonduff Distillery.
Aged 12 years, this whisky has been matured in a first-fill Oloroso Sherry Butt – with cherry menthol and spices such as mace, it’s great for sherried whisky fans.
Non-chill filtered, natural colour, and limited to only 762 bottles.

Nose
Freshly oiled oak, cherry menthol lozenges, red liquorice twists, plum sauce, crunchie bar, and a wee hint of clove honey.

Palate
Slight earthiness with tobacco, caraway, nutmeg, clove and mace all present. Fruit takes a back seat with flashes of blackcurrant glycerine pastilles, kola kubes and menthol lozenges.

Finish
Medium length, drying nutmeg and caraway.
