Thompson Bros Highland Single Malt 18 Year Old

This peated Highland single malt Scotch Whisky was matured in Ex-Oloroso Sherry Casks, for a minimum of 18 years. Only 365 bottles were ever produced.

It was bottled by Thompson Bros. of natural colour and no chill filtration, with a label that may give a hint to the hidden distillery.

NOSE

Burnt caramel, lime oils, bread and butter pudding, dark chocolate crunchie, a recently smothered bonfire!

PALATE
Fruit cake, dried papaya, charcoal, pipe tobacco & winter spice, soft tannins (black tea)

FINISH
 Earthy peat lingers, sweetness returns, wet sugarey shredded wheat, a gente cellar-esque funk

45.7% ABV.
