Decadent Drams “The Teuchter” Batch 3

Teuchter Batch Three is the same juice as Batch One, but it’s aged longer and has seen yet another sherry cask along the way, this time a 2nd fill European oak sherry butt . This is bottled at natural strength and is a rich, decadent, dark and unctuously sherried 18 year old highland single malt.

Flora is absolutely delighted!

NOTES 

Nose.

Modern spicy and rich sherry, but with plenty underlying earthy and dark fruit tones. Also a little spiced honey and mead. 

Taste.

Very easy, quaffable and plummy, with rich dark fruits, Armagnac vibes, hints of camphor, pine and cedar wood. 

Finish.

Medium, balanced between sweeter dark fruit jams and cordials, with some balancing drier woods and spices.
