“Why we went to Finland to pick this exact cask – We are fans of whisky generally, obviously Scotch whiskies but also world whiskies, and in particular Nordic distilling. So many exciting things happening globally, but the Nordic distillers seem to have found a great balance between Scottish traditions and their own distinct identity.
The Kyro warehouses were full of incredible, fascinating casks. We want to let you try interesting, unusual and most importantly tasty things.
This cognac cask malted Finnish rye fitted the brief; super interesting, but in the kind of way that you’ll actually want to keep drinking it!”
