Not much to say here except it turns out whisky drinkers really appreciate 36 year old Balvenie at a very fair price. The last release disappeared in near record time and we had orders for more than double the number of bottles in the cask.
When we managed to secure a second cask it made sense to release it straight away for those who missed out the first time. Sister cask, extremely similar profile, same price.

Bottled a few weeks before its 37th birthday, you don’t want to overdo these things!
Label is a colour reversal of the first cask.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Blushing Grapefruit
NOSE: Kiwi, pear jelly, antique furniture
PALATE: Peach iced tea, white chocolate, muscadet
FINISH: Pecan pie, sultanas, really good olive oil
