LBD Spirits Glenwyvis 2019

Glenwyvis 2019, 4 years and 1 day old to be precise. With Madiera casks being used as part of Glenwyvis core range the guys at LBD Spirits found it fitting to showcase this single cask which has been fully matured in a Madiera cask. Bottled at 56.5% with an outturn of 299 bottles, all natural colour and no chill filtration. Lovely artwork on the label which depicts the heather moorlands surrounding Ben Wyvis.

Colour – Strawberry wine
Nose – Apricot, cidre (not cider) and pecans
Palate – Strawberry tart, panforte, Ethiopian coffee beans
Finish – Sweet angelica and English mustard
