Mortlach 10 Year Old Rare Find

Mortlach, A.K.A “The Beast of Dufftown”. A spirit that is well known and favoured by blenders for its robust and somewhat weighty characteristics. This single cask has spent its final 3 years in an Australian Shiraz barrique which has given the resulting liquid some delightful red fruit and jammy notes which in turn compliments that almost meaty Mortlach signature style. Limited to 300 bottles and bottled at cask strength with no added colour.

Tasting Notes.
A bold scent of fresh cranberries, strawberry tart and parma ham. Fresh plum, rasberry jam and cranberry sauce on the palate. A bright and fruity finish with lingering black pepper.
