Seven Sons Blend 11 year old (Ryan’s Blend)

The seventh release in the Seven Sons range from 8 Doors Distillery is an 11 year old Blended Scotch, curated by distillery manager Ryan Sutherland. Ryan’s first blend has been created using existing Blended Scotch and sherried Single Malt whiskies.

A mixture of first and refill sherry casks, and refill bourbon that have been married in a European Oak refill sherry butt.
Non-chill filtered, natural colour, and limited to only 550 bottles.

Nose
Milk chocolate, oatmeal, jammy wagon wheel, digestive biscuits, toffee doughnut, granny smith.

Palate
Crisp yet creamy with toffee pennies, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, grist, chai, golden syrup. Just a drop of water needed, if any.

Finish
Short to medium, the toffee sweetness carries through with cinnamon and a pleasant drying nutmeg note.
