LBD Spirits Wee Mongrel Rum – Maple Syrup Casks

Notes from LBD:
We put our already excellent blended rum into maple syrup casks at the beginning of the year with the sole intention of creating a Christmas Monster. We have poured cask samples at a couple of recent events and the feedback was insane, we had little trains of people coming to find us and seeking out “that maple rum!”
Same blend as before, aged 8-15 years, but this has spent 8 months in two maple syrup casks. Non-chill filtered and natural colour, we’ve reduced the abv this time though to 50%.
Total crowd pleaser and something unashamedly tasty. Imagine lighting your Christmas pudding with this!
